Speaking to the Law Society Gazette this week SAHCA’s chair, Will Richmond-Coggan, commented on a reported attack on Scottish solicitor advocates. The Scottish Faculty of Advocates (the Scottish equivalent of the Bar Council) are complaining that the model of solicitor advocacy, where the same firm offers an end-to-end service, is inherently anti-competitive.
