Law Society’s guidance notes published on the implications of a “no deal Brexit”

The Law Society has provided much needed guidance for family; civil and commercial practitioners on the implications if no deal is reached by the time the UK leaves the EU on 29th March 2019. In the event this happens the UK will leave the EU’s institutional structures, which in many areas of law will cause the legal regime to change and cooperation arrangements between the EU and UK to terminate.

These notes are incredibly useful and are essential reading for any solicitor practising in any of these four areas:

Providing legal services in the EU

Civil and commercial cooperation

Data protection

Family law
