WHAT IS SAHCA?
Since 1994 we have been the only independent body representing solicitor advocates in England and Wales. We serve our members by providing high quality training, a network of hundreds of like-minded professionals from all around the country, and representation on the most important issues impacting the profession, through lobbying and discussions with a range of governmental and regulatory bodies.

Founded in 1994 when solicitors first acquired the right to appear in the higher courts, SAHCA is the only independent association to representing all solicitor advocates practising in England & Wales.
Our uncompromising aim is to enable our members to attain the highest ethical and professional standards of advocacy, whilst promoting parity and equality of opportunity with the Bar.
SAHCA’s members represent a broad range of practitioners from Magic Circle firms, to sole practitioners – with one shared goal – excellence!
